Closed Published by Jay April 27th, 2007 on ConnectionsThe Transportation Policy Council voted this morning, over the objections of members of the Citizens’ Transportation Coalition and staff of the Gulf Coast Institute, to go ahead with a resolution supporting the proposed TxDOT and HCTRA deal to fund TxDOT projects with Harris County toll funds without allowing for public input.

The Grand Parkway Association will hold public scoping meetings in early May for the section from I-59 to I-10.
METRO is soliciting public comment on the three proposed alignments of the University Line.
METRO has announced another round of meetings to get public input on the proposed University Light Rail Line.
Our General Plan meeting last week was a success with about 120 people in attendance. Following on the depth of questions at the event, we will post a series of materials to further illuminate the need for a General Plan in Houston.
