I think I have a new Dr Pepper Icee location. It’s at the Chevon at Beechnut and 610. The drink is called a Dr. Freeze, but I’m sure it is practically the same thing if you don’t have time to go somewhere else.
At the time I couldn’t try it for verification purposes. I just had lunch when I found the machine and couldn’t pull off a big Dr. Freeze slurpy thingy.

Diane Holloway of the TV Blog at Austin360 reports that there have been some big layoffs at KEYE Channel 42 in Austin:
KEYE general manager Amy Villarreal confirmed Wednesday that the station has decided to drop chief meteorologist Byron Webre, morning co-anchor Elizabeth Dannheim and veteran reporter Keith Elkins. Reporter Rebecca Taylor also will leave at the end of her contract. READ THE REST
